We made it!! Last week Steven and I started the drive to Texas. It actually wasn't too bad... Steven did most of the driving (by most, I mean ALL) and I either played video games or sang obnoxiously to the same 60 songs on my phone! Steven was so patient!! lol
The point is.... we are actually at our new temporary home. We are living with a married couple in Pflugerville, TX. Can we just stop for a second and enjoy the word "Pflugerville"? The city of Pflugerville is so proud of that pointless P that it appears ALL over the city. For example: They were having a Deutchen Pfest this weekend that promised Pfood, Pfamily, Pfun! :) It makes me laugh every single time I see it!
Anyway!! So we live in Pflugerville. And I think it's going to be a nice 3 months here. We live with super nice people, they have a few dogs and cats which you know I LOVE! Even Steven is becoming more of a dog lover because of Ben and Jerry!
They also have a fancy TV room, a pool, and a pool table! So I'm getting pretty good at Pool! :) The drive to Stevens work is about 10 miles, but even that isn't as bad as people threatened it would be!
I'm going to keep it nice and short today, because I have SO many other things to get done! But if you have ever been in or around Austin and have things to add to our "Summer Bucket List" Please let me know! We certainly want to take advantage of this beautiful State while we have the chance!!!
